This assignment was an example of using the quick mask mode. The reason why we use the quick mask mode is to help draw attention to the foreground. We did this by softening the background. The quick mask mode helps helps add emphasis on the main subject. We also learned the protocols of photoshop.

This one looks good, I like the duotone, the softened background. The only other thing I would have done was cropped the image closer to you.
